Acute upgraded eSPI trigger for TL2236B+.
Acute Technology has officially upgraded its TL2236B+ logic analyzer to be able to trigger and decode d the eSPI (Enhanced Serial Peripheral Interface) protocol developed by Intel. The eSPI is a new bus interface for Intel’s new generation client and server platforms to integrate the LPC/SMBus/SPI Flash interface for higher transmission efficiency and lower pins requirement.
The eSPI decoder shows the detail decode result including OpCode, Response, Cycle Type content, CRC error check and Status error check. The TL2236B+ has the eSPI trigger to capture the eSPI signal precisely, record the specified Opcode, Cycle Type and Reponse content and/or illegal command by the various trigger conditions flow chart setup. The TL2236B+ is supported by the NEW 400MHz Transitional Storage function which is able to record enough time of the eSPI signal in full speed (66MHz) mode.
