Acute announced its latest new products in January 2015.

Acute Technology Inc. announced its latest new products in January 2015: the ADP1025 and the ADP2025 high-voltage differential probes for DSOs to measure differential signal. The differential probes made by Acute bodes well for the company’s excellence in analog technology. The ADP1025 (ADP2025) is handy (145 x 45x 20 mm3) to carry, can be powered by either an USB port or a power bank. The ADP1025 (with the attenuation switch of 10x/100x) is able to measure differential voltages up to ±700V (DC+ peak AC) and the ADP2025 (with the attenuation switch of 20x/200x) is able to measure differential voltages up to ±1400V (DC+ peak AC); both probes have the same bandwidth up to 25MHz, ~5MHz bandwidth limitation function and the over-range LED indicator and buzzer to better arouse users' attention to over voltage.

The ADP series complies with the safety certification of measurement category (CAT) defined in 2010. The ADP1025 is CAT-I/CAT-II with the impulse withstand up to 2500V and the ADP2025 is CAT-II/CAT-III with the impulse withstand up to 4000V. Since the ADP only needs the USB power, so it can be used by most benchtop oscilloscopes with an USB port. The ADP offers outstanding CMRR performance that provides floating and differential signal measurement and very handy in form factor; these features make the ADP a good solution for measurement in Electromechanical or the automobile fields.

ADP can work very well even if discharged from Power bank.
